Why is that weird? Take 2!

So earlier today I posted about things that should seem weird but apparently aren't. Then I went out. Oh boy are these some great ones to add to the list...

Background: Tonight there was a social get-together at a bar for students from all of the different Rabbinical Schools in Israel. It was fun because there were name-tags, happy hour 2 for 1 deals and karaoke.

That was not the weird part...

Why would it be weird when the song I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor is requested and is playing with the words scrolling while in the background of the screen are aerial photos of Masada.

Massada, really? 'Cause that's not weird!

Nor is it weird that "chasers" refer to small shots- not a glass of cola.

And it is also not weird that there is a hotdog stand called Doggy Style. Again not weird-disturbing, yes-weird, no!


Also, just in case you thought that it might be weird for there to be street art (literally chalk drawings in the middle of the street), it's not weird especially when it is of mushrooms coming out of an eyeball! (This is right outside of the entrance to our building)
