Professor Minerva McGonagall x100

Every day, on my way to and from class, while wandering the streets of Jerusalem or even just sitting in my apartment, I see and hear cats. Sometimes in the morning, there are 10-15 at one street corner and sometimes there is just one- sitting on the far side of the steet, on a low wall like in the first scene of Harry Potter- there is a cat- staring, sitting, hardly moving. Dumbledore engages the cat in conversation and then the cat disappears revealing Professor McGonagall.

I often try to see these cats as McGonagall becasue it is the only thing that does not make me want to yell at them and shoo them from the sidewalks.

On this one corner with the minyan of cats, there is sometimes a woman who feeds them. Every morning she leaves food out for them. I am glad that she does this far away from my apartment and sometimes am tempted to leave the Hansel and Grettel cat food trail to lure the other cats that way. The big problem is that by bringing more cats to the area can only be good for creating more baby cats. That is not good!

Thank god I am not a cat- then not only would I have to deal with crazy reproductive drama and pain (wikipedia cats and look under the reproduction section) but I would also be allergic to myself.
