Of course that's a parking spot

So yesterday Phil and Becca's car was towed from a legal spot in New York. It made me think about parking here in Israel. Apparently, here in Israel, as long as you have a sticker or meter counter in your window, you can park just about anywhere. Often on my walk to school, I have to walk in the street because the sidewalk is blocked. I have also learned that it is normal to park at an angle if your car is not going to fit properly in the parking space available- even if half (or more) of your car is on the sidewalk.

See guys- if you move to Israel, illegal parking is apparently not a reason to be towed...when you coming to visit?

PS- I would have to caution those reading this and all others- with sidewalk parking there are other dangers. I would like to send some love to a classmate who was knocked over by a car that was backing up on the sidewalk while the classmate was waiting to cross the street at a crosswalk. The classmate is fine and the driver is still driving and parking.
