Mail Delivery

Around lunch time today, I was on my way to SuperPharm (a drugstore chain) and to pick up a falafel when I saw a mail delivery guy. He was wearing a pair of Israeli/Russian black sweatpants with 2 white stripes on each side, Nike sneakers, a Thailand t-shirt with elephants on it and carrying a Diadora backpack.

So you might be wondering- how did I even know that he was a mail deliverer?!

He was holding a huge stack of mail bundles outside of an apartment building...and I have seen others dressed similarly. Comfy and easy. Maybe they can't afford the uniforms or because of the compulsary army service, blue collar professions resist uniforms when possible. Maybe it's because it costs the same amount to send a postcard to the US as it does a letter.

Maybe this keeps the dogs from barking less?

...What about the cats?...
