There is a great book in English about grammar called Eats, Shoots & Leaves. I might have gained some great insight if I were to ever read this book, but until that happens, I will enjoy the opportunity to laugh.
I saw the following sign on a walk:
I read it as:
PARKING FOR
BEIT AVICHAI
IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC,
THE CAR (Harechev) HAS TO PAY.
Apparently, I should have read it:
PARKING FOR
BEIT AVICHAI
IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL (Harachav) PUBLIC, FOR A FEE.
I still like mine better...
