This will be my last entry from Israel for now. I hope to pick this blog up again in the fall when I return for round two/shannah bet/5771/etc.
This morning, Ari and I woke up to an Arab outside, yelling; "Alte Zachen!" He was peddling used and new goods while shouting in Yiddish... Why is that strange?
That was followed by a trip to Max Brenner's for the Israeli breakfast, and to the mall to buy more "army" socks and underwear for camp. We walked around, read some pages from a few books and people watched. Then we headed home and set to finish packing. There was also a short break to the post office to return the rental phone (good riddance!!!). Ari is coming with me to the airport at 9pm and then by 5:30 am, I should have landed in Philadelphia.
I hope that you have a great summer and thanks for following...
