When I was in Israel in high school and then again jr. year of college, I tried to write home once and week to inform family and friends of my adventures. And there were some good ones.
I am hoping that this may be a little different. Rather than share what ambulance calls I went on and what I ate (or didn't eat) for dinner, I am hoping to go a little deeper. While the mundane is inevitable, especially in a country where all post offices don't sell stamps, I am also hoping to share my views on what I am studying, living and experiencing.
I leave for Israel on October 1st and arrive erev Sukkot in Jerusalem.
Shanah Tovah, U'Metukah!
